April Purchases

As you might have noticed by the title, this post is late.  No excuses, just late..but here it is in all it’s glory.  In the month of April, I did some spring shopping and am very pleased with the results.  These purchases have also conveniently been my favourites for the past month.  So there, two posts in one.

 april purchases

Starting from top left

“Cherry Blossom” & “Red Laquer” Lipsticks, Revlon ($7 each) – As featured in my beauty post earlier in the month, these have been great go to shades when I’m wanting to add a pop of colour and the consistency of Revlon’s lipsticks is wonderful.

“Bowie” Backpack, Aldo ($85) – As soon as I saw this backpack I knew there was no turning back.  A bit on the pricier side, however it’s a total statement piece I can’t wait to use.

Grey Jersey Dress, Sparkle&Fade at Urban Outfitters (on sale $20) – This type of dress is so versatile and since I already own one similar in black (and love it), I thought a grey version would be a nice addition for the warmer months to come.

“Parrsborro” Heels, Aldo ($90) – I’ve been really into pointed toe shoes and love the way these look paired with both jeans and dresses.

“Fidien” Jelly Shoes, Aldo ($30) – A throwback to childhood, as I’m sure many of you remember wearing these when you were younger.  I had to get them, right??

Sunglasses, Black Market ($10) – Probably the most worn item here since I’m always wearing them.  I love them.

Cropped Tank, Zara ($30) –  The fabric of this tank is so lightweight and I love the off white and red colour combo.  Pair with your favourite high rise jeans or circle skirt for a winning look.

Disco Pants, American Apparel ($92) –  Enough about these, you can read my post about disco pants here to know more about them.

Sephora Classic Brow Filler Brush #100, Sephora ($12) –  I love a good strong brow and this brush allows me to get crisp, clean lines while also filling them in fairly quickly.

Cropped Tee, American Eagle ($20) – This is just one of those tops that you can throw on and it will always look casual and cute.  I love wearing this top specifically with black high rise jeans.

Denim Tee Button-up, Black Market ($10) – This shirt looks so nice with everything.  I’ve worn it with pants, skirts, over dresses to add a “vest” type look to my outfit.  This purchase was a total score.

Denim Jacket, Black Market ($10) –  This denim jacket is a great alternative to the other denim jacket I have that’s a little more on the plain side and I love how it’s more of a cropped fit (I honestly think it’s a little girls jacket but we’ll just say cropped).
